Getting There

Manila - Nasugbu Trilogy

  • If you are traveling by car.

    Head to Nasugbu Batangas. From Manila take the South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) and exit at the CALABARZON exit. Continue on the road towards Batangas and follow the signs to Nasugbu. Once in Nasugbu, look for the sign towards Mount Talamitam, which is located approximately 15 kilometers from the town center. You can park your car at the designated parking area near the jump-off point.

  • Once you have arrived in Nasugbu via bus.

    Take a tricycle to the jump-off point for Mount Talamitam. This is a common mode of transportation in the area and will take you directly to the starting point of the hike. The ride should take about 30 minutes and costs approximately PHP 50-100. Be sure to negotiate the fare before starting your journey.

  • To reach Mount Talamitam by public transportation.

    Take a bus from Manila to Nasugbu. Buses are available at various terminals such as the Cubao Bus Terminal or the Pasay Bus Terminal. The fare is approximately PHP 150-250. Once you arrive in Nasugbu, you can take a tricycle to the jump-off point for Mount Talamitam, which will cost around PHP 50-100. Make sure to inform the driver of your destination.

Easy

These parts are mostly made up of very flat dirt roads with little rocky areas. Kids wearing light hiking here is also possible with sneakers.

Average

Proper attire and hiking boots are essential. Nearly all of the trail is constructed consisting of unpaved roads, that has many stairs and a significant the amount of rock faces as well as hills.

Advanced

Hikers need to arrive fully prepared with appropriate equipment. The majority of the trail has been built made up of steep roads, rocky faces, and cliffs with ropes and ladders mounted on them.
